Yes, i completely  agree with what lance said. You shouldn't quit. I look at your videos, and it looks like you don't have photoshop or any other major image editing software, and I think if you did, your work will be better.

BStyles: I do think your critque was too harsh. You said in your R142A exterior thread, you said you PhotoShopped some images. The keyword is Photoshop. You forgot that not every one has the same resources as you do. Not everyone could afford a piece of software like that for $1000. Not everyone has a camera either.

There is also one more thing you forgot to mention in your first paragraph. One major reason why we have a bad reputation is because all we do is bash, bash, and bash to other members, and this is the main reason why many newboes leave after ~20 posts. Because all we do is scare them away.

OK I didn`t want to get involved in this because it happens to be about OpenBVE. But now I will. Constructive criticism is good, but the attitude of the people who are criticising is over the top. Developing Trains and Routes for BVE is hard, and it`s not for everybody. But to say to someone that their work sucks because it`s not up to your standards is a disgrace. Are you paying him? If you are then you have that right, but you`re not so STFU.  Any work that someone does for BVE is a hobby, and it should be appreciated. Next time instead of thinking you guys are men by blasting someone over their work, how about being a real man and pointing out something and asking if that person doesn`t know how to fix that OFFER to teach him.

I might sound stupid, but are you talking to me or are you talking to somebody else?

I`m talking to everybody who went over the top in their critiques. If you did, then you are one of the people I was talking to.

Excuse me but i make do with just ms paint and a 3 megapixel (terrible) iphone camera and look at the stuff i have done.
I have the exact same tools to work with as dumb4life, yet my content is boundlessly better than his and is seen much more positively by the BVEStation members.
Why? Because I pour my heart and soul in to everything I do for BVEStation! Not a pixel is to be overlooked when im making a train! Yet on many trains made by the ones mentioned above, the exterior windows are bumpy and the fronts are skewed as shit.

And goyankees, what the hell do you know about train development?
