They still do move without a diesel.I think they put motors from the R38's and 42's in there.But I'll try2 get some info on that.

they probably can still run, their only problem was that the brakes would lock up randomly if I remember correctly

yep.I think I mentioned they will have to refit the brake packages and trucks.

I seriously doubt that that is true.
The R110s haven't had any touch of work for 7+ years.

And there is no way that R32 and R42 motors (DC Motors) could have been retrofitted to any of the R110s since their motor control systems are for AC Motors. Popping in DC motors would require the cars to be completely re-wired for various technical reasons.
