Well even a 3 car-1 set fantrip would be cool if these get fixed up and everything.I'm sure this would probably be expensive and sold out.Not expensive like $100 maybe double or even triple a regular fan trip. But shit they'll have to:
-Add new motors
-Trucks use the ones from the SMEE's(R32/38/40/42 class) or even the R44 class.
-Propulsion System
-Possible update the PA System automated announcements wouldn't be necessary.
Thats pretty much it.Painting is not needed maybe new flooring but keep it original as possible.
The brakes can be retro to the R46's SMEE braking and the panel looks a mixture of an R46 just with a screen and no digital speedometer.
And Joseto you're right the controller is similar to the R143/160 class.

they both only had brake problems. It probably wouldn't have made sense to get them back in service since the R142s and 143s were a few years from being delivered, and it's only one set

joseto:

Yeah that's true... However, I think most of the train is ok though... I'll look further into the R110 *mystery*

lol nice foamer dreaming there.

I seriously doubt anything will be done to any of the R110s until the transit museum is done with fixing up the other vintage cars like R1 103, the BMT Standards, and the WF Lo-V.

Well I wasn't foaming or overly excited I was just pointing out info.I mean they can't just expect a train that hasn't run in over 10yrs to perform to an every day trains routine.Same thing like the TOMC they have2 fix them up fresh coat of paint but no new motors unless its dead.

Dj Hammers:

actually i heard some rumors that a trio of R110Bs is still in close to operable condition and was maneuvered through 207th Street yard not long ago.

However these are rumors so don't quote me on this.
