Well its your loss. Its not our fault you don't know graphic design. Go take a class in it and get better.

I was about to say that...

Fine, quit, stay, I don't care. The point is, The quality of the trains that I'm seeing and showing needs to improve. This post was never aimed at a just one specific person, so where are you going with this?

I agree with BStyles but we shouldn't point fingers at each other we should just improve whatever work we did. We shouldn't argue because the rate this post is going it's going to be chaotic... :-\

Joe, there has been countless suggestions and words of advice. I would not have posted this thread if that weren't the case. But even if it is a hobby, you should want to give it 110%, right? You do it all the time.

That`s fine, but like I said BVE developing is not for everybody. What I object to is the tone of some of the posters. Everybody forgets they were new developers at one time too. Maybe with some more practice the new guys here can improve, just like WE ALL DID. IMHO the critiques were too harsh on the new guys, especially when they aren`t getting paid to do it.

Lemme answer some questions.

@Goyankees: I already explained to you that Photoshop was a failure. I went back out and corrected that mistake. That's what I'm trying to explain to you guys. Help is always available here, but it has been overlooked. It's like talking to a brick wall sometimes.

Fine, quit, stay, I don't care. The point is, The quality of the trains that I'm seeing and showing needs to improve. This post was never aimed at a just one specific person, so where are you going with this?

Styles, your critique was helpful in a way, because you told them how to improve. However, it was just way too harsh. If it was a little nicer, people might have listened, and a critique has to have concessions. That one was just one sided.

Also, I see you guys take pics for textures textures, help coding, and help others build content. I haven't seen one person go out to these people you mentioned and said "here are some textures you could use" or "here I could help you code it" etc..  He asked, none us ever responded. NONE OF US. I notice we only offer help to big name - developers. Never to the new ones or people who always try.

not to mention that we GAVE HIM ADVICE to help improve his work but he just disregarded it.

Also its not just the graphics quality, there are several major physical inaccuracies. Notice that originally the blue line train was just a modded R160.
Im sorry but im sick of working so hard on my work and watching others just releasing crappy work. Frankly it is embarrassing and i don't like having my work being associated with stuff like this. If crappy work like this keeps coming out im leaving and taking my work with me. That simple.

When I get advice, I try my best to follow it, If I can't I can't. Like the seats, I'm looking at the Class 323 and am trying to figure out how to fix the seats.

I'd just like to let it be clear that none of the staff here will turn away anybody willing to learn how to build anything. We all live busy lives though. And while we do encourage the enthusiasm of learning on your own, you have to learn how to separate creating something and saying "oh this is good" from actually staring at what you finished and saying "wow". That's why it takes longer for some of us to give updates. We don't stop at good, we shoot for wow, because then we know it'll be a hard presentation to shoot down, and even if it was, we know we gave it 150%
