Only administrators/moderators can start threads in the news section, since they go on the homepage.

Although this is big news, it doesn't necessarily qualify as news since we had several notable people join BVEStation in the past, without much attention, and it would be unfair for them.

I would agree that posting a news item about me joining would be unfair to others; I'm just one of many contributors to the community, after all.

So... I'll monitor the openBVE sections of the forum from now on, and if anyone has any specific questions regarding developing for openBVE, please feel free to ask me, although try to provide as much information as possible as well. I'm quite busy so I might not always be able to respond immediately, but I'll certainly endeavour to help out when nobody else is able to do so, and I'm in a position to assist. :)
