Open BVE 0.9

ipaclansite:

OpenBVE works on nearly all platforms...  They're just experimental.

I've just given OpenBVE 0.9 a try it isn't all that bad, many of the English routes work alright.  I've tried the 1950's Lexington Avenue Elevated Route, and it appears a bug that I never reported so long ago, has been fixed.  The R142 train we have, works pretty well, though its still not perfect as we would hear it in BVE.  I'll try out the others when time allows.

Amtrak7:

openBVE is much better, note 0.9.0.1 has been released.

While we are on the topic of error's E route, here are some questions.

Why does openBVE say that I have crossed a stop signal at Union Tpk?
I always am late-starts with 12sec at Sutphin, add 10-15 sec. per stop. Top speed is 50km/h
Is the steep grade at approach to Jamaica-Van Wyck realistic?  I overrun this stop.

coneykidw8:

first off Error didn't make that E line, that was made by Robert Marrero and OpenBVE is chock full of errors and we dont care much about the program, just use BVE2 or 4

Kawasaki_Plant:

People can use whatever they want. I'm supporting OpenBVE because it is a great program. It doesn't show much potential on the NYCTA routes, but it CERTAINLY does on the British/UK or whatever routes. And the errors are from DEVELOPERS. OpenBVE is EXTREMELY picky on coding unlike BVE2/4.

Blackmanor1000:

Yea. Okay, okay, OpenBVE is working AWESOME with British Routes!
That rocks.
For British.
Too bad we're a New York City BVE website.
Why should we redo all of our "complex" routes just so we can see our train move from the outside?
