The R110A sounds like a mixture of the R160B Siemens and R142A

Mhmm..when it accelerates it sounds like a dead M7 propulsion.

Dj Hammers:

the R110A uses an older type of AC propulsion using GTO inverters instead of IGBT inverters. Same with the R110B.

the 110A's sound like Toronto's T1s...now if only we got more of those.......foam

Interesting. Never saw any video that showed the NTTTs being operated.

The R110A does sound different than the R142/R142A. I can't really hear any sound coming from the R110B though.

It's also interesting how the automated announcements sounded like on the R110B, as well as how the R110B has the same LCD from the R44/R46 series.
