2 Train Master:

Yea the R142A's & R143's are Bombardier Propulsion/Ad Tranz either name same shit.
The R142's are Alstom I believe.And its funny b\c
the R142A's were built by Kawasaki but have Bombardier propulsion.
And I believe all the R160's except 8843-9102 have that annoying piece of shit bootleg wannabe sounding like an R142 with an extra tone propulsion.

Kawasaki_Plant:

The motor sounds extremely good! The beginning notes seem a little out of place when you run the train throughout all of its notes. Seems that the first couple of notes were taken outside of the train, whereas the rest were recorded inside, but like always, its still a very fun drive.

Will we be seeing more from the great SIR?

By the way, just so everyone is clear, THIS IS THE ADTRANZ PROPULSION.

(SIR) North Shore Line:

Thanks!

I've been working on this set for awhile and it's hard to get sounds to blend well in OpenBVE. There's a noticeable 1 second gap between the sounds sometimes and I don't know to get rid of that.

R142 is Bombardier and the R160 is Alsthom. The R142A and R143 are made by Kawasaki

Not quite. The R142 is Bombardier, The R142A is Kaswaski, The R143 is Kaswaski, The R160A is Kaswaski, and The R160B can be either Alstom or Kaswaski.

2 Train Master:

Dude let it go we were not talking about the builder of the subway cars it was a bit of confusion since the R142A & R143's have Bombardier/AdTranz Propulsion systems so someone thought the other person was saying that the R142A's are Bombardier cars but they have Bombardier Propulsion systems.I'm sure we all know what we are talking about some of us may read it wrong and it leads to confusion like this.
