Haven172:

This summer, i proposed a route from SEPTA. Due to complications i postponed it until further notice.
This is something i can work on during the school year.

I am going to FINALLY start developing trains.
Since i get up at 5:40am and leave at 6:06 just to travel 2.1 miles to Masterman Middle/High School that doesnt open until 8:07, i could spend some time down at City Hall and AT&T Station to see if i could get those new announcments.

There will be three verisons.

First Generation from 2000: Same transmission, Manual annoucments, Old Chime
Second Generation from 2008-2010: Same transmission, New braking system, Auto annoucnments
Third Generation from November: Same transmission, New annoucnments
Release Date: TBA

Is there anyone who has a idea on how to record sounds?

45Lexington:

cool a new train developer ;)

error46146:

Good luck...

To record sounds, you'll (obviously) need some sort of an audio recording equipment.

Some cameras and mp3 players have a sound recording feature; if you don't have any then you will have to buy a dedicated sound recorder.

AFAIK the Canon S-series, the older cameras in the nikon L-series, some of the higher end Panasonic cameras, the iPod touch (requires special headphones), and the sandisk mp3 player all can take sound recordings.

Haven172:

what if im using a phone?

error46146:

Depends on the sound quality of the phone, and if you can download it onto your computer or not.

If you're using something nice like an iphone or droid then sure..if you're using some random phone they gave you for free, than I doubt it'll be any good
