Is there something that can make Open run smoother on my computer? its like, shit laggy and its getting on my nerves. its soooooooooo slow

The usual tricks are to lower the viewing distance, and lower or turn off motion blur and transparency. Also makke sure other programs like Firefox, limewire and iTunes aren't open, they can eat up processor resources at random times.
