Hey guys.
I have just emailed the Uwe Post for RouteBuilder source codes. First I thought, that he has permanently erased his source codes and now all are propagandizing handcoding and are against RouteBuilder. I am good at Delphi7, but I think C#.NET or VB.NET is better. However, I prefer C#, so I need to rewrite it. The OpenRB project will be the same that RouteBuilder is, but with extended functions and OpenBVE support. Uwe Post granted my request.
I think that the admins and moderators will close this topic and ban me permanently with the reason "RouteBuilder is not allowed in all over the world BVE communities", and I believe that it will happen is true :'( :'( :'(.

error46146:

Why would you get banned for using Routebuilder? As long as you get the route done, it doesn't matter if you manually code or use something like routebuilder. Its your route, so your choice.

Dude C'mon we're better than that... We do have someone here who does use routebuilder... We just don't think of it as accurate enough so we choose not to use it...

Exactly, why would you get banned using Routebuilder?  Thats like me trying to ban all the users who use Macs, discriminatory if you ask me.

Routebuilder in my opinion should have seen continued development, because its the only GUI editor for route files we have.  With a GUI newbies are more likely to attempt to try their hand in Routebuilding.  Whether or not this will turn them into route builders using just notepad, at least it exposes them to create something, and that is what matters.

So if you do plan to create a Routebuilder, I would like to see it developed, who knows it may be so good, that we are able to do away with notepad all together.

What I've always been looking for is a Routebuilder/Route Viewer hybrid where I can make changes and see the results immediately without reloading the route.  This will speed development up extremely fast, and make it so much easier to create higher quality routes.
