braking delays

if you havent noticed, in openbve the R68A delays in braking and acceleration... its kinda annyoing while the other NYCTA trains like the r62 and that illegal R46 on mediafire by seabeachexp brake and accelerate without delay

well, especially for the r68a, that braking and acceleration delay is realistic, in real life operating of the r68, i believe the delay is around somewhere like 3 seconds.

some trains dont have the delay, either because the developer didnt add it in to the trains .dat file or in real life, that train doesnt have a delay.

Just open the DAT file in notepad and scroll down to where is says delay. Reset all the numbers there to 0 and the delay is gone.


Not sure if it is legal though, if it isn't please correct me.

That is in fact illegal, although you can do it in private.  Yes some trains have braking delays, and some dont.  Although some are more significantly seen in OpenBVE than in BVE, I'm not sure on how that works.

so i can't give the train to another person? Or should I delete the train and download it again with the brake delays? I don't want to deal with copyright crap after what just happened. lol
