Best Trains To Use - UPDATED

Dj Hammers:

Here is a list of the best trains to use depending on your route:

The R1: Slow and low-powered, but extremely easy to control. I use it on the Lefferts Shuttle for NYCTBA. Virtually impossible to get a passenger discomfort penalty if you go full throttle from a standstill. It can take some practice to get used to the R1's brake controls, but once you get the hang of it everything gets really easy. My advice: use it on a route with lots of curves and stops to utilize it's excellent braking ability without needing high speed and power.
Braking: 8
Power: 2
Speed: 6
Start-up:10

Straphanger's 10 Car R32: Medium speed and power, easy to brake as long as you watch the brake delay. My advice: Can be used for any route, just average at just about everything.
Braking:6
Power: 6
Speed: 7
Start-up:7

The R160B: EXTREMELY overpowered and really high top speed. Braking can be annoying and rough though and startup has to be careful to avoid passenger discomfort. My advice: only use it on routes with REALLY long stretches of track.
Braking: 4
Power: 10
Speed: 10
Start-Up: 2

The Generic Redbird: Slightly more Power than the R32, but has effective but bumpy braking. My advice: Use it on express routes with many curves, you won't be needing that brake much.
Braking: 6
Power: 7
Speed: 7
Start-up:6

The R143: Overpowered and high top speed. Slightly slower than the R160B and braking is a little smother. Startup is a little smother too but still bumpy. My advice: only use it on routes with straight track.
Braking: 5
Power: 8
Speed: 9
Start-Up: 3

The WMATA 6000 series: High power and speed, smooth but slow braking, anything higher than 2 1/2 points of brake pisses the hell out of the passengers. Start up is smooth and easy to achieve. My advice: Use it for straight locals, the high acceleration and good braking makes everything look like clockwork. Overall, my favorite.
Braking: 7
Power: 9
Speed: 10
Start up: 10

Remember that these are my opinions, I barely get above 20 FPS on the Lefferts Shuttle and that I am using OpenBVE Version 1.7.2
All of these variables may affect your experience.

STREETRIOT:

yes u are right those trains u posted are the best for the route but i still think u should [train] yourself to operate all the train because u never know  if your next  assignment is in a division or b division
personally i used different trains every time i do my Lefferts blvd assignment to keep me sharp

Nice train guide DJ Hammers.  Well written.

In the future we may force you to use "standardized" trains.  Instead of allowing you to use your own and everything.  Since there isn't that many people working yet, we'll make it an exception at the moment.
