A newer look to BVEStation in development!

Hello everyone! Name's Philips, to all of you, and I am happy to be a part of BVEStation!!!  :)

I am planning to contribute to BVEStation, and as the topic states, I will be trying to make additional objects - maybe to existing ones as well. For example, the light in the tunnel is one that I will focus on at some point. I will make in 3D the light bulb and the silver thing behind it, just to picture what I will be working with. I will also be working with pictures as well.

As the title of the topic states, I will be making new things - especially to the train. I will be making things that object builders before have never thought of. I don't blame them - as making trains is not so much a priority, and I can very well understand that. That's why I will "take charge" of that - I will actually work really hard on these trains.

I shouldn't test my own limits, but you all should expect them to be really good from me - or my name's not Philips lol!  :D

I hesitate, though, that I will have put too much detail that I can't even run it on my own computer! Nevertheless, it will be an achievement that I will be proud of at a young age!

I haven't thought of what I will need yet - though any help will be appreciated by me!

Expect this to take years, as I will eventually find new things to work on. When I find something new to the train, I will update that train file.

I have started my work already. I will be posting pictures soon!

I look forward to seeing your work, as a word of caution, make sure you have all the proper permissions from the developers before you start modifying.  Some authors are very strict about the modification or using of their material.

Oh, I know that.  ;D Thanks for being aware, and I'll be sure to ask first before doing anything!

Do I have to ask if I created an object and I want to place it into an existing file? Like the tunnel light I mentioned?

rayv145:

yeah, if you plan on releasing it with somebody else's work then you need permission too

To everyone in BVEStation:
Since I don't know who is the creator of the R68.b3d and it's textures, can I ask for permission to "fix up" the R68?

Seeing that Greatxu's route has the R68 texture that was edited for his route, I assume that he had permission to do so, right? Or can anyone edit the texture and post it up online, as long as they cite the creator of the texture?

All I am focusing on right now is the textures, as I may be able to spruce up the image for R68 fans there. I believe I can make a seemingly shiny look to it, through several procedures - don't ask me what they are!  ;D

I want to fiddle around with the colors. It has proven very successful (for me) and I want to implement it onto the R68!

If I have permission (or if I don't need one to do so), I may be able to post an image of the completed work today!  :D

Screenshots of my works will be posted very soon!  :D
