Hi, I'm new at this and I'm having trouble downloading the routes into BVE 4. I also checked out the tutotrials but I still don't get it. Any help is appreciated. Thanx!

Most of the routes are made for bve 2

But it should still work because they are all .csv format

The routes run better in BVE2, but they can work in BVE4. Here`s what you do

1. Download the route from the download page
2. The routes are packaged in EXE files that install them directly into the BVE2 folder. You can change the destination from the default C\Program Files\BVE, to C\Program Files\mackoy\BVE folder by using the Browse button on the installer.
3. After you do this, open the BVE4 Route folder and see what format the route is in, if it`s csv then it will work, if it is in RW then it won`t. If it is in RW, go to step 4.
4. Download BVE Route Randomiser from here

 http://www.trainsimcentral.co.uk/misc.htm

scroll down till you see the BRR10.2 Route Randomiser. and download

5. open BRR, and look for the route and train, select both and hit process. The program will generate a csv route file for the route called brrtemp.
6. Find the brrtemp csv file and rename it to the route you need. It`s very important that you rename it, because if you do another route in BRR it will generate a brrtemp and overwrite thefirst one.
