Well I'm back in the lab again with the 62A, this time with way more updates than in 4.1 and the dev team will be pushing the envelope even further. As a teaser I'm updating and releasing the Current R62A this weekend including some of the updated physics as a beta of sorts. Some notes and status updates for the project:

I decided to name the next version cobra after the R62A's braking system mainly because I got tired of deciphering the number system when it came to updates, so now every update would be labeled with a u. ex: Cobra U1 this version will include OpenBVE compatibility as a separate but simultaneous release (still called cobra but for OpenBVE)As mentioned, I am releasing a beta of the updated physics file soon as an addendum to the 4.1, which will bump it up to 4.7 since I'm not expecting to release any more updates after thisA bit of an elaboration as to what this performance update is. Basically after reviewing the .dat file time and time again since version 3, we (error and I) pushed the realistic experience even further with every release. This time the physics are pushed to the limit; the train jerks even harder when moving, the weight has been fixed and the acceleration has been modded - yet again - to better complement the R62A's real-life counterpart. As a result of this, many who have adapted to version 4.1 will find the next update, and Cobra, to be rather goofy the first time around when it comes to handlingThere's a new panel now, made by danny. This will not be included in the update since the controller is still being modded.I'm also re-visiting adding safety systems. With the new wave of graphically detailed routes came the evolution into realism, and with the oncoming anticipation of the release of IRT routes in the future, Cobra will have a safety system installed in some form that is undetermined as of now. With the safety system, Cobra will add on to the realism, utilizing code in the route file to control the behavior of the train; something that was implemented into version 3, but was never properly utilized.that's it for now, but I'll add updates whenever they come.

And yes, this means the R62 is being updated too

the only problem...we need to insert the ATS in the route for it to work on the train lol

i actually can do that on the 7 i have permission from way long ago to edit the 7 (which i never really finished lol) but yea i could ATS-ify the 7

also i'll try to (as usual) get more and more HQ sounds for the 62A
