Make a Fantasy Map

Fantasy maps are a great way to share your creative ideas with others on the forum and they are incredibly easy to make.  You can start from existing maps or from scratch.  A good way to split the middle is to start with Michael Calcagno's map from nycsubway.org which can be found here (But any NYC subway map will do.  Michael Calcagno's map only has black lines for the existing lines (not including the 63rd St. tunnel)).  : http://images.nycsubway.org/maps/yourmap.gif

Some ideas for maps:

Start the entire system from scratch and construction every line they way you would have built the system, tracks and all.

Create both rush hour and night/weekend maps.

Create maps for either extensions or new line in New Jersey, Long Island, Connecticut or elsewhere.

Utilize a map key to specify yards and equipment servicing each line.

If you created your own map based on your own imaginary system then place it here too.  Some ideas include systems you built in OpenTTD, Locomotion, or even SimCity or any other game that includes building a transit system!
